  • ¾ cup dried elderberries
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 tbsp. ground ginger
  • 4 whole cloves
  • 1 cup raw honey

Preparation:

In a large pot, add the cinnamon stick, berries, water, ginger and cloves and bring them to boil.

Once they start boiling, reduce the temperature and let everything simmer for 30 minutes. Remove the pot and mash everything with a potato masher.
