Just in time for Christmas, we’re giving you maybe the best winter photos ever! White reindeers exist and they look even better than in our imagination!
Photographer Mads Nordsveen was taking photos in Oslo, Norway when he saw the most unique and most beautiful creature.
“I was walking in the mountains looking for nice landscapes for my travel photography when out of nowhere I saw this wonderful little creature. “He came very close to me and we looked at each other straight in the eyes,” says Mads.
The reindeer’s fur was snowy white and had 2 light brown antlers. His face was innocent-looking. The baby reindeer looked calm and relaxed. He noticed that Mads was friendly and allowed him to take photos.
“He was very curious and fun. Like a little explorer,”says Nordsveen.
The baby reindeer wasn’t alone. A few minutes after the encounter, the mother appeared out of the trees.
White reindeers are extremely rare, but they’re not albinos, since their antlers and eyes area darker color.
