Three Berry Pie Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts, softened
  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • 5 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp. quick-cooking tapioca
  • ¼ tbsp. salt
  • 3 cups fresh or frozen blackberries
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen raspberries
  • 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 tbsp. milk
  • 2 tbsp. sugar

Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 450°F. Prepare the pie crusts as directed on the packaging, in a round, glass baking pan. Take a large bowl and mix the 1 ½ cups brown sugar, the cornstarch, tapioca and salt. Add the berries. Pour the mixture in the baking pan, over the crust. If you want to create a lattice top, cut the second crust into strips and arrange the strips in lattice design over the berry filling. Trim the edges. Brush your crust with some milk and sprinkle some sugar on top.
Bake the pie for 15 minutes and then reduce the temperature to 375°F. Continue baking for 40 minutes, until the crust gets golden brown. Let your pie cool down for a couple of hours before serving it. Enjoy!
