Le-Vel Thrive Review: Too Good to Be True?

When it comes to so called “medical breakthroughs,” people have a right to be skeptical. After all, the snake-oil business can be a very lucrative one, and has been for centuries. All it takes is a unique, possibly pseudo-scientific name for your product and a laundry list of difficult-to-evaluate claims, and boom, you’ve got yourself the next big thing in natural healing. But sometimes, just sometimes, our understanding of human health really does take a leap forward. And occasionally, those wellness products so many of us turn our noses up at end up actually being worth a second look.

So that’s what I’m going to be doing today: giving a second look at one of the newest, most popular health and wellness trends of the decade. I’m talking about the Le-Vel Thrive Experience.

In this Le-Vel Thrive review, I’ll be putting my own preconceptions aside, and taking a look at the following:

  • What is Le-Vel Thrive?
  • What supposed health benefits does it offer?
  • What ingredients are in it?
  • Can it aide in weight loss?
  • What do other Le-Vel Thrive reviews say?

So let’s dive in, and see if Thrive really is too good to be true.

What is Le-Vel Thrive?

According to Le-Vel, the Thrive Experience is “hard to explain, and challenging to describe,” but I’m going to do my best.

Simply put, Le-Vel thrive is a weight loss aid in the form of a patch that you put on your skin — kind of like the nicotine patches that smokers sometimes use when trying to quit. But unlike nicotine patches, Thrive is supposed to deliver vital nutrition directly through your skin. The end goal? Well, according the official Le-Vel site, “to help individuals experience and reach peak physical & mental levels.”

Those are some pretty bold claims. Of course, the Thrive patch is only one part of the overall Thrive Experience. In this eight-week lifestyle plan, users take a combination of Thrive Premium Lifestyle Capsules, Thrive Ultra Micronized Lifestyle Shakes, and the aforementioned Thrive Skin Patch, with “Derma Fusion Technology” (DFT). Along with these products, the Thrive Experience incorporates a personalized eight-week exercise and fitness goal, to help users keep an eye on the prize. Remember that last part, because it’s important.

What supposed health benefits does it offer?

When it comes to benefits, Le-Vel isn’t shy about making claims. The overall Thrive Experience is designed to help users manage their weight, increase cognitive performance, improve digestive and immune-system health, support healthy joint function, increase lean musculature, offer antioxidant support for decrease signs of aging, and improve overall mood.

Phew. That’s a lot of possible benefits. But what does the FDA have to say about it?

Nothing. The FDA has not evaluated these claims. But before you get too upset, it’s worth noting that evaluating health claims on supplements isn’t actually the FDA’s job. Let me explain:

According to information on the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, “the FDA is not authorized to review dietary supplement products for safety and effectiveness before they are marketed.” That said, the “FDA can take dietary supplements off the market if they are found to be unsafe or if the claims on the products are false and misleading.” So what does that mean? It means that the FDA hasn’t checked to see if the above claims are valid, but they also haven’t had to step in and pull the products or seek legal action against Le-Vel. In other words, the FDA not being involved here might actually lend support to the claims.

But that’s not quite enough for us. Let’s take a look at the Le-Vel Thrive ingredients:

What ingredients are in it?

If you’re hoping to find “snake oil” in the ingredient list, you’re going to be disappointed. In fact, the Thrive Experience (patch, capsules, and shakes) actually includes some pretty beneficial stuff, such as vitamins, minerals, enzymes, amino acids, and probiotics. It also includes ForsLean (a naturally derived weight-loss product) and different forms of caffeine like green coffee bean and green tea extracts.

All in all, not a bad line up, and pretty much all from natural sources. That’s a point for Le-Vel. But how effective is it for weight loss?

Can it aide in weight loss?

As we said before, the Thrive experience includes patches, capsules, and shakes. And the truth is that by themselves, these aren’t going to instantly dissolve those unwanted extra pounds. These aren’t magical weight loss solutions; they’re health and weight management supplements, and that means that you need to supplement them with other activity. That’s where the eight-week personalized fitness goal comes in.

Essentially, the Thrive Experience focuses on improved nutrition and increased physical activity. And as anyone who’s ever taken a health class knows, nutrition and activity are the key aspects of healthy weight management. So, in this case, it looks like the science is on the side of the supplements — just don’t think that you can get the same results by doubling down on the patches and ignoring the fitness side of things. You need both if you want to see results.

And have users been seeing results? There’s only one way to find out.

What do other Le-Vel Thrive reviews say?

Finally, we come to customer reviews, and honestly, overall they’re fairly positive. There are a number of Thrive customer reviews and testimonials on the Le-Vel website. Of course, reading reviews on the company site might leave you feeling skeptical, so go ahead and expand your search to other media. Across Facebook, for example, there are literally thousands of positive reviews, and Le-Vel maintains an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau

Does that mean you won’t find any negative reviews out there? of course it doesn’t. but overall, it looks like most people who give the Thrive patch (and the rest of the Thrive Experience) a try end up satisfied with the results.

Final thoughts…

Ok. I’ve taken a look at the claims and the ingredients, and from what I can see, Le-Vel Thrive seems to be on the level. But it’s worth noting that, like pretty much everything in life, it looks like users get out of the Thrive Experience what they put into it.

As mentioned above, this isn’t some mysterious cure-all that uses magic to improve your health; it’s a scientifically-based nutrition delivery system coupled with personalized fitness goals. And if you don’t follow those goals, chances are you’re not going to get as much out of it. So, if you want to improve your health and you don’t mind doing your part to make it happen, the evidence suggests that Le-Vel Thrive might be an effective solution.

Huh. A modern wellness product that actually stands up to closer inspection. Who’d have thought?
