The Wool Cross X fabric uses a special knit technology to adapt to wearer’s feet, for extreme flexibility and durability. With millions of small air chambers within the fabric, the Merino wool acts as a natural insulation to keep feet warm in the winter, while preventing sweating in the heat.

Founded as a family business, Giesswein is currently being run by its third generation. The founders Markus and Johannes Giesswein, grew up surrounded by and learning about wool. At Giesswein, they made it their mission to create one-of-a-kind products by reinventing the positive attributes of wool. The goal is to process the wool in such a way that its best properties are highlighted and well-used. To reach this goal, they continue to develop and produce unique fabrics from our own production center in Tyrol, Austria. In addition to temperature-regulating technology and micro-grip technology, Wool Cross X feature removable insoles made of 100% Merino lambswool, and maximum cushioning with dual compound-sole technology. The Merino wool is anti-bacterial and odorless, so no socks are necessary while wearing this shoe. Wool Cross X are breathable for dry, sweat-free feet, and can hold up to 125 milliliters of sweat without feeling wet.
