Chilling Adventures of Sabrina brings to you a dark and humorous world straight out of Archie comics. It is a world filled with magic, mystery, hint of horror and a ton of teenage noir. As with Netflix’s tradition, the entire 1st season was dropped last year and gathered positive response from critics all over the world.

The plot starts around a witching ritual where Sabrina needs to make a decision either to enter the life of a witch or to choose a normal human life. 2. The Irishman

The entire world is talking about this upcoming movie from the mastermind Martin Scorsese. Looking at the star studded and capable cast, one cannot restrain themselves from getting super excited. Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons, Al Pacino are but a few faces which will appear in this movie. Set to release sometime next year, the story revolves around the famous Scorcese theme of crime and drama as a mob hitman recalls his endeavors and involvements in killing various significant personnel. This will be the first time Scorcese is making a movie for Netflix and we hope this isn’t the last. 3. The Haunting of Hill House

Creating a horror show definitely requires more effort than a regular show as your audiences are expecting to be spooked and captivated at the same instance. Released back in October last year, this show has definitely made a mark on its audiences with its in-depth character development and interesting storyline. The story is loosely based on a novel released under the same name back in 1959. We get to witness a family who used to live in ‘The infamous’ Hill House and the tragedies that struck the various family members and how it altered their personalities as well as individual lives. 4. The Other Side of the Wind

Adding a couple of movies to our list only seemed right since there a number of interesting titles being released these days. The Other Side of the Wind is what you can call an experimental film which was supposed to be released decades from now, literally. After the photography being completed in 1976, the film became victim to legal and financial issues thus wasn’t completed. Orsen Welles, the original director of the movie, passed away in 1985, and after several failed attempts to complete the movie, it was finally taken over by Netflix and released in November last year.

The plot revolves around an aging director who becomes victim to a car crash just before his attempt to revive his movie career by creating one of a kind movie.  His quest to launching a flashy movie filled with violence and sex brings in much criticism and entertains the audiences with satire and humor throughout the length of the movie. With so many years laden into its development and release, this movie definitely deserves a watch.

5. Stranger Things (Season 3)

Originally released a couple of years back, Stranger Things made us all fall in love with its child cast and their exceptional acting skills. Everything about this show, the story, the interesting plot, the detailing of the worlds depicted (this is not a spoiler) and the scary characters, all add to the flavor of the show. The 3rd season of the show has just been released and the fans are going crazy with anticipation.

The initial story started with a missing kid who gets trapped in a different dimension and how the team of protagonists gets entangled between both the worlds in order to save the kid. Not long after, the creatures from the other world start appearing into the human world. The backdrop of the show is set in the 1980’s which adds a nice classical and pre-modern vibe to everything.
