The baby princess was born at 8.34 am on Saturday morning weighing 8 lbs and 3 oz., less than three hours after Kate arrived at St Mary’s Hospital.
Wrapped in a soft white shawl, the princess was presented to the hundreds of well-wishers gathered in front of the hospital waiting hours to see her. She was taken home to Kensington Palace by her parents and her big brother, 21-month-old Prince George.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge held their hands tightly carrying the sleepy princess in her car seat at their first appearance outside the Lindo Wing. Kate wore a lemon and white Jenny Packham dress and the proud father Prince William was dressed casually in a blue jumper and shirt.
The little princess is the fourth in line to throne and the fifth great-grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II, 89.
They relax at Kensington Palace among those expected to visit this little princess, the Queen, Prince Charles and Kate’s parents.
The whole country impatiently waits for Royal couple to reveal their daughter’s name.
