– If you’ve had an abortion.

– If there’s a risk of premature birth.

– If you have strange symptoms such as pain and bleeding during your pregnancy.

– If you’re suffering from placenta previa. It’s a condition when your placenta is in the wrong place and it covers the cervix.

– If you’re partner has a STD.

Can Intimate Intercourse Cause Abortion Or Contractions?

If you’re having a normal pregnancy, then the answer is NO. Many women experience orgasm for the first time during their pregnancy. Orgasm can cause contractions, but those are totally different than the birth contraction. Your baby is safe in the uterus and those contractions can`t hurt him.

What Happens With Your Desire For Intimate Intercourse During Pregnancy?

Your desire during pregnancy can vary. It can be very low during the first trimester. You’ll be occupied with throwing up, tiredness and breast sensitivity. During the second trimester everything gets back to normal. During the third trimester you’ll be pretty big and you might not have the desire to make love. The most important thing is to keep a strong and healthy communication with your partner.

All positions are allowed if you’re comfortable. As your belly gets bigger, you need to get more creative.
It will be more comfortable for you to be on top. You can also try laying aside.
You partner need to watch out not to blow any air in your genitalia, because that can lead to blocking of the blood vessels. That’s dangerous for the mother and child, so be careful.
