Make Your Own Natural Lip Balm in Just 5 Minutes and Say Goodbye to Cracked Lips

It’s time for a DIY project and we guarantee that you’ll love this one. We love using natural ingredients in our DIY beauty projects because most of the beauty products on the market are packed with chemicals that are health hazards. Since fall is here, we want to make sure that your lips won’t suffer from the windy weather. This DIY project is for all the lip balm lovers out there and for others that simply want to try something new, natural and amazing.

Here’s what you need to make your own natural lip balm:

  • 4 tbsp. Coconut oil
  • 4 tbsp. Beeswax
  • 1 tsp. Vitamin E oil
  • A couple of drops of peppermint oil or your favorite essential oil
  • Some lipstick or a crayon (this is optional; if you want your balm to have color)
  • Plastic pot or an old lip balm container

Instructions:

Grate the beeswax and add the coconut oil. Put them in a glass container and pop them in the microwave until they’re fully melted. Add the lipstick, crayon and the vitamin E oil. Add the peppermint oil and pop the mixture back in the microwave for 10 seconds. Pour the mixture into a plastic container or and old lip balm container and place it in the fridge.
