Kitten Rescued From Busy Highway After Police Shut Down Traffic

This kitten has been rescued with the help of the state police from a busy highway tunnel. The scared kitty was found walking in the Ted Williams Tunnel in Boston. Luckily, some drivers called authorities for a help.

“Today, this little gal decided to play a little hide and seek in the Route 90 Connector Tunnel in Boston. Multiple calls were received about her walking around in the tunnel,” said from the Massachusetts State Police.

When police arrived with the Animal Rescue League of Boston, they had to shut down traffic. They managed to catch the kitten and take her to safety. Thanks to these guys, the kitten was quickly rescued.

“This little kitten looks like she has been through a lot, as she has lost quite a bit of fur on her tail from some sort of burn. Her prognosis is good however, and she will be up for adoption soon, when she is medically cleared.”

We are so happy that she was safely rescued. What a purrrrrfect end!
