A Kid Gets Rejected From an Ad Campaign for Having Special Needs. Mom Fights Back!

Megan Nash sent photos of her son Asher, who has Down Syndrome, to a local modeling agency. A few days later, she was told that Asher’s photo weren’t submitted to the company because they didn’t need a model with special needs. Nash got angry and decided to do something about it!

Megan and Asher went on a mission to make changes in the advertising world and they’re not giving up!

Megan even posted photos of her adorable and photogenic son on Facebook in order to raise awareness.

“I was hoping by posting the picture and calling out OshKosh … that it just might get enough attention to change the world’s view on people with disabilities and spread awareness about this issue. I want people to know they are not just a trend that comes and goes in advertisement, they are here to stay,” says Megan.

Megan’s photos went viral and they have been shared more than 111.000 times!
