Keir Alexa Gives Back and Spreads Positivity With Keir Collection

Between celebrities, athletes, and influencers alike, the efforts to give back this past year have been overwhelmingly positive. These efforts have made an incredible impact and have also inspired many others to give back. This positive trend will continue to gain momentum with the help of Keir Alexa and many others, who have been inspired to give back to communities near and far.

Motivated by these positive acts, Keir Alexa has created her own brand with her mother, Stephanie Wohlman, called Keir Collection.

Before the start of Keir Collection, Keir described how “Living in Los Angeles and in the scene of the fast-paced lifestyle, not knowing what I wanted to do with my life while trying to heal a broken heart left me feeling incredibly depressed and lost.” After traveling around the world and participating in a 4 month Southeast Asia trip with Remote Year, Keir was inspired to create an initiative with the intent of giving back. The mission of Keir Collection is to gather groups of conscious individuals from all backgrounds and host events and retreats across the world. As a half black and half white woman herself, Keir wants to be a positive role model for others and share her personal growth from her travels abroad.

The most important piece of advice Keir learned from her travels is to constantly be working on expanding your perspective through travel, meditation, and personal growth. Keir is passionate about mindful living and loves to host events that bring people together like yoga. With Keir’s motto being “Meditate All Day, Party All Night”, she is committed to living every day to the fullest and helping to create a better world.

Keir’s blog features many of her incredible travel stories and her best advice on how to lead a mindful life and be a conscious human being. Keir’s blog posts set her readers into motion about finding yourself, understanding the world, learning more from traveling, meditation and mindfulness, and navigating how to give back, she is a woman that is committed to all.

Just recently, Keir spoke out about Black Lives Matter, posting photos of her and countless others peacefully protesting and having “power in numbers,” growing from merely seven people to over a thousand. She continues her activism online and in-person as after leaving these protests, she interacts with the homeless population in Los Angeles. This is where her most recent charity project was born.

After being shown the kind of effect a small number of people can make on such a large scale, she knew that there was more she could do. Being inspired by sharing the things we love with others, knowing that “It’s really what motivates people and gives them purpose,” she found her purpose during COVID, at a time when many needed help,  she was committed to giving back to these communities. Between smaller volunteer opportunities, Keir felt this true surge while interacting with the homeless population in Los Angeles. On her blog, she says “Our goal — 500 care packages stuffed with essential items for people experiencing homelessness in the LA area.  We would include a reusable bag, a $10 gift card to Subway or Chick-fil-A, an organic granola bar from CORE foods, water, gatorade, chips, socks, comb, toothpaste, toothbrush, tampons, and a handwritten uplifting note.”

Keir is proof that no matter where you are in the world, you can make such an incredible impact. Regardless of how much money you have, who your friends are, or how many followers you have on social media, you have the tools to give back and be a kind individual. Her ambition to give back and seek new perspectives on the world can be an inspiration to all those wishing for the same.
