Homemade Remedies Made from Eggshells

There are many reasons for lack of calcium in the human body. Sitting too much, consuming lots of caffeine, alcohol are just some of the reasons. Women during menopause are more likely to lack calcium.

An eggshell is 90% consisted of calcium and it’s an excellent source of minerals. Our organism will easily absorb this type of calcium, that’s found in eggshells, because it’s similar to the calcium in our bones and teeth.
Instead of throwing away the shell, try some of our homemade remedies.

Thyroid Remedy

Carefully wash 8 eggshells, dry them and crack them to pieces. Add juice of 2 squeezed lemons and keep that in the freezer for 2 days. Once the mixture is soft, drain it and mix it with 1l brandy and 1kg honey. Leave the mixture for 7 days. Eat 1 tbsp. 4-5 times a day after a meal.

Remedy for Ulcers and Gastritis

Mix some cracked eggshells with 2 tbsp. lemon juice. Once the shells are soft, add some warm milk. Have 1 tbsp. of the mixture, twice a day, in the morning before having breakfast and before going to bed.

To Boost Your Immunity 

Wash carefully 5 whole eggs, put them in a big jar and add squeezed lemon juice- you’re going to need about 1 kg lemons.  Leave the jar for 8 days and then drain the juice. Add 500gr honey in the juice and mix it good. Have 1 tbsp. of the juice a day, before having breakfast.

Shell Dust

Put the shells in the oven on 150 °C. Bake for 10 minutes. Keep the dried shells in a jar and use it whenever you want.  You can use this shell dust in the recipes above instead of using fresh eggshell.
