Homemade Natural Hand Creams

Moisturizing Hand Cream

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup organic olive oil
  • ¼ cup organic sweet almond oil
  • 2 tbsp. organic cocoa butter
  • ¼ cup beeswax
  • 1 tbsp. vitamin E oil
  • 5-8 drops of your favorite essential oil

Preparation:

Put all the ingredients in a big glass jar. Fill a pan with some water and place it over medium heat. Put a lid on the jar and put the jar in the pan with water. As the water heats, the ingredients will start melting. Stir occasionally. Once all the ingredients are melted, pour the mixture into small containers.

Cooling Arnica Hand Cream

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup coconut oil
  • 0.3 ounces dried Arnica flowers
  • ¼ cup beeswax
  • 8 drops peppermint essential oil
  • 2-3 drops lavender or eucalyptus essential oil

Preparation:

Chop the dried Arnica flowers, and mix them with coconut oil. Put them in a small jar. Fill a pan with some water and place it over medium heat. Put a lid on the jar and put the jar in the pan with water. Keep the oil on medium heat for 30 minutes. Take the jar out of the water and let it cool down a little, and then filter the oil by taking out the flowers. Turn the heat on low and add the jar back in the pan. Add the beeswax in the jar and stir. Once everything is melted and mixed well take the jar out. Leave it for a couple of minutes and then add the essential oil. Mix the oil well and pour the mixture into small containers.
