Dairy Free Alternatives: 4 Ways to Make “Nut” Milk

Do you love nut milk, but want to make it dairy free? Well, it’s possible and super easy. Try our amazing dairy-free alternatives to prepare extremely delicious and extra healthy nut milks.

1. Almond Milk

In a big bowl, place 1 cup of almonds and cover them with 2 glasses of water. Leave them overnight. After they’re soaked, drain the water and place the almonds in the blender. Add 3 tbsp. honey, 1 tbsp. vanilla extract, a pinch of salt and 4 cups of water. Use a cheesecloth to strain the milk. Pour in a glass, leave it in the fridge for 2 hours and enjoy!

2. Pistachio Milk

In a blender, add 1 cup of pistachios, 1 tbsp. vanilla extract, 3 tbsp. honey, a pinch of salt and 4 cups of water. Blend and once it’s done, strain the liquid using a cheese cloth. Keep the milk at least 1 hour in the fridge before drinking it.

3. Hazelnut Milk

In a big bowl, add 1 cup of hazelnuts and 2 cups of water. Soak them overnight. Drain the water and place them in your blender. Add some vanilla extract, 3 tbsp. honey, a pinch of salt, 2 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder and 4 cups of water. Blend everything well. Strain the liquid using a cheese cloth. Refrigerate the milk 1-2 hours before drinking.

4. Pecan Milk

In a big bowl, add 1 cup of pecans and 2 cups of water. Let them soak overnight. Drain the water and place them in your blender. Add 1 tbsp. vanilla extract, 1 tbsp. honey, a pinch of salt, 1 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder and 4 cups of water. Blend everything well. Strain the liquid using a cheese cloth. Keep it in the fridge for 1-2 hours before drinking.
