Two days after birth, Rudy the baby deer was rushed into the veterinarian center with a severed leg. The life didn’t start easily for this little fellow. They had no idea how did it happen, but knew that medical attention was the only chance he had to survive, and luckily he did. The veterinarians were able to amputee his leg just in time.
But another problem was raised: Where would Rudy live, and who would care for him while he’s fully healed?
One of the vet technicians at the hospital loved to rescue injured animals and loved the idea of Rudy being part of his family. After they took her, the first days were uncomfortable for Rudy, but after a while they slowly adapted to each other.
After spending some time getting used to this new strange home, Rudy slowly started to learn how to walk again, now with one missing leg and started each day playing with his other animal siblings.
The dogs in the home loved him as he is their brother! They took him so well, and Rudy and his dog pals spend their day running around and playing, and another neighbor came by to visit the new happiness in the family.
