It’s fun to think about changing your style and image, and some of you might be thinking about trying out some new hairstyles. Ribbon Highlights
Ribbon highlights are well known for being a style favorite of actress Olivia Munn. They’re a great choice if you have dark brown hair, tanned skin and want to add a more sun-kissed look to your appearance.
One of the great things about these is that they’re easy to maintain. This is because the highlights usually start a few inches from the scalp, so they don’t noticeably grow out and will stay looking great even as your hair grows longer.
Platinum Blonde and Icy Tones
As it gets colder outside, try channeling your inner Daenerys and dropping the temperature with your hair color by changing to a pale, cooler tone. This is used by lots of the top models and is really in fashion.
It’s harder to achieve if you have dark hair. If you have black hair and want to go to a platinum blonde, then it’s almost impossible to do without bleaching, which puts you at risk of damaging your hair and causing breakage.
If you already have blonde hair, then you can achieve this simply by taking a couple of sessions of highlighting your hair and adding a pastel toner to give it that chilling edge. This style is one of my favorites and looks super stylish when wearing dark colors.
Long and Sleek
The Kardashians, Beyonce and Nicki Minaj are all regulars for the straight and sleek look. Lots of you will be thinking that it will take too long to grow those luscious locks, but you can easily make your hair longer and fuller with hair extensions.
