Say ”Bye-Bye” to Feet Calluses Permanently

Dead skin cells that build up and hardens to protect the tender skin of your feet from all the pounding and pressure are also known as feet calluses.

We all know that calluses are not attractive. Plus, they can be painful some of the time and they are downright irritating.You can ignore them all you want when you hide them in socks and warm closed shoes but when it’s time to wear sandals or slippers in the summer, you’re going to want to get rid of them.

Your body may have found a good way to protect itself but if these feet calluses aren’t treated, they can get worse and might even cause problems with mobility in the future. You may be asking, “How do I get rid of my feet calluses?” -we’ve got you covered.

These are some of the effective ways to remove feet calluses permanently:

  1. Warm up some water and let your feet soak in it.

Soak your feet in warm water or even take a warm shower for about 10 to 15 minutes. This will allow those calluses of yours to soften and loosen up. This will also do wonders for your skin and hair! When soaking your feet in warm water, you can add a handful of Epsom salt and just stir it in your basin and container.

  1. Moisturize your feet after bathing.

  • Fruit enzymes in papayas (papain) or pineapples (bromelain) : Papain and Bromelain contain only low levels of acid that sensitive skin can tolerate.
  • Keratin : Keratin is a protein that our body needs to regenerate collagen and elastin.
  1. Load up on your Vitamin E.

Vitamin E is basically known in helping repair your damaged tissues. You can go for Vitamin E supplements, you can either go ahead and drink the pill or nick the pill and apply the gel or liquid directly on your feet calluses.

  1. Know what causes your feet to get calluses.

Along with knowing what could be causing your feet to get calluses, also figure out ways to prevent it!

The most known cause of calluses is too much pressure or friction on the skin of your feet. What causes the friction and pressure are also perpetrators to your feet getting calluses. Such as:

  • Always wear shoes and socks that fit you just right.
  • You can place padding in your shoes.
  • Never cut your calluses yourself.
