If you are a wine lover, then this recipe for wine gummy bears will definitely surprise you. They’re super easy to make and all you need are two gummy bear molds, some gelatin, and some sugar.
Here is how to make red, white or rose gummy bears:
(Servings: 125 Gummy Bears)
- 1 cup wine (Red, White, or Rosé)
- ½ cup sugar
- 3 tbsp. or 6 packets of powdered Gelatin
- 1 drop pink food coloring (for Rosé Gummy Bears)
- 2-3 gummy bear molds
In a saucepan, add the wine, sugar and gelatin and cook over medium low heat (if you want to keep the alcohol in, then keep it under 90 degrees). Whisk for 3 minutes or until sugar and gelatin have dissolved. Add the pink food coloring if you are making Rosé gummy bears.
Pour the mixture over the gummy bear molds. Use an offset spatula to get rid of the excess mixture. Put the molds in a refrigerator for at least 1 hour and 30 mins. Store your gummy bears in a sealed container in the refrigerator.
