Trying Times and the Holiday Season

As we approach the holiday season it’s important to be mindful that a close friend or family member might be struggling to conceive. Just a few months of experiencing a delay in conception can bring on a range of emotions from feeling broken and damaged, to feeling shameful, to having resentment and even jealousy.

These emotions can be amplified during the holidays. Surrounded by happiness and good cheer, some couples have a hard time with their own private struggles.  They may have hoped to share an expecting baby announcement with close family and friends, and instead face another year being childless.

In this season of giving and kindness, how can you  help those in need and stay connected to the ones we love?
We realize it might be very difficult as you try to support someone, especially if you have children of your own. As a result, we created this short video to empower you with the insights and tools you need to help a loved one living with this uncertainty.

We hope you enjoy this video. It should allow greater insight to help you validate someone’s feelings and in doing so allow you to stay connected to the people you love and who need your support most this holiday season.

Happy Holidays,
