Soldier Adopts Stray Puppy In Iraq, Then Brings Him Home To California

A stray puppy showed in an army base in Iraq, and stayed there to encourage the brave soldiers while being on a mission. He won everyone’s heart, especially one particular soldier, former Specialist Ken Wyrsch. He took little puppy under his wing and raised him. He got even a name-Ollie. The two of them became best friends and spent every moment together while Wyrsch was on serving duty.

But when the time came for Ken to leave Iraq, he knew that his friend must be left there alone and heartbroken. But he also feared that the dog wouldn’t survive in such a harsh environment.

Wyrsch contacted SPCA International, hoping that they could help to raise the funds needed to rescue Ollie and send him in California.

One month later, Wyrsch went to the cargo depot SFO to make a very special pick-up. Watch what happened next in the video below.
