Perfect Summer Recipe: Homemade Watermelon Ice Cream in Molds

There’s nothing better than watermelon and ice cream in the summer. Well, actually there is- watermelon ice cream. This delicious dessert is amazing for cooling during a hot summer day.

Here’s what you need to make the perfect summer dessert:

  • 3 ½ cups of seedless watermelon
  • 5 ½ cups of sugar
  • 1 tbsp. Lemon juice
  • ½ cup coconut milk
  • 6 kiwis
  • 1Tbs chocolate crumbs
  • Ice cream sticks

Preparation:

Put the watermelon, 2Tbs sugar and lemon juice in your blender. Blend until smooth. Place the mixture into your ice cream molds.

Sprinkle some chocolate crumbs to make it look like there’s watermelon seeds.

Put the lids and place the molds in the freezer for 3 hours. Mix the coconut milk with 1 ½  Tbs sugar. Chill the mixture and then add it into the molds. Place the mold in the freezer again.

Cut the kiwis in half and place them in the blender.Add 2tbsp sugar. Blend until smooth. Add the kiwi mixture into the molds and freeze again.


When you’re ready to enjoy your ice cream, just place the molds under hot water and take the mold out. Enjoy the perfect summer dessert!
