Makeup Class for Beginners: Apply Your Eye Shadows Correctly

Eye shadow, eyeliner, flat brush, angled brush… if you’re a makeup beginner you can get really confused. We’re here to make the makeup process easier for you and that’s why we created this chart showing where you should apply all those products.

Brow bone

If you want to accentuate your brows and make your eyes look bigger, apply light eye shadow on your brow bone.

Eyelid

The main eye shadow colors should be applied on this area.

Crease

The crease is located between your lid and your brow bone. Apply dark shadows here to give your eyes more dimension.

Outer corner

You should apply dark eyeshadows and eyeliner on the outer corner of your eyes in V shape.

Upper lashline

This spot is ideal for applying eyeliner. It’s also the spot where you should start applying your mascara.

Inner corner

If you want to wear smokey eyes apply a dark eye pencil on your inner corner and waterline. If you want a fresh look and make your eyes look bigger and open, apply white eye pencil on this area.

Lower lashline

Use a liner or some eye shadow on this area to define your eyes and create a sharper look.

Inner corner/ Tear duct area

Just add some light eye shadow to make your eyes look bigger.
