Homemade Back Pain Remedies

Back pain is a problem that affects more and more people. Back pain feels like tension, an ache or stiffness in your back. The pain can be caused by bending awkwardly, bad posture while sitting or standing or a quick movement while lifting. In most cases back pain can get better within 12 weeks and it can be successfully treated by painkillers. Back pain is not an indication that you’re suffering from a serious condition but it can really be painful. Rather than taking pain killer to relief you pain, you can use natural products.

1. Poppy Seeds

Poppy seeds are the best remedy for your back pain. Grind 100gr. Of poppy seeds and mix 2 tbsp. of the grinded poppy seeds in a glass of milk. Drink this twice a day.

2. Garlic

Garlic can help you reduce your back pain. You can eat 2.3 cloves of garlic every day or just make garlic oil to massage you back.

To make your garlic oil, you will need coconut oil, mustard or sesame oil and 10 cloves of garlic. Heat the oil on low heat and add the garlic cloves. Fry the garlic until it turns brown. Leave to mixture to cool down and massage your back gently with the oil.

3. Basil Leaves

Basil leaves are excellent pain relievers. Add 10 basil leaves to one cup of water and boil it.

Let it cool to down and add some salt. Drink the water with basil once daily for mild pains and twice a day for severe pain.

4. Epsom Salt

Epson salt will not only reduce your pain, but also reduce your inflammation. Mix some Epsom salt with hot water until you get a paste. Soak a towel in the mixture and put the towel on your back. The warm towel will also reduce swelling.

You can also add two cups of Epsom salt to your bath and soak in it for half an hour. This will instantly relieve your pain.

5. Chamomile Tea

A hot cup of chamomile tea can relax tension in your muscles, and muscle tension lead to back pain. Add one tbsp. chamomile leaves to 1 cup warm water. Drink 1-3 cups per day.
