Here’s what you need to prepare this diabetes friendly chocolate chia smoothie:

  • 2 tbsp. chia seeds
  • ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 ½ frozen bananas, sliced
  • ½ tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 tbsp. peanut butter powder
  • 2 tbsp. cocoa powder

Preparation:

Mix the chia seeds, almond milk and cinnamon in a bowl. Let the mixture sit for 15 minutes, so the chia seed absorbs all the liquids.

In your blender, place the frozen bananas, cocoa powder, peanut butter and almond milk. Blend until smooth. Pour the chia pudding into 2 glasses and top it with the delicious smoothie.
