Greg Wickerst is a single dad, who recently got divorced. He’s a proud father of the 3 year old Izzy and he loves spending time with his daughter. When Izzy’s hair started to get longer, he didn’t know what to do with it. Instead of letting his daughter`s hair look like a mess, he did something really amazing. Greg works in admissions at IntelliTec College in Pueblo. He asked for help from the school’s cosmetology department last summer and students were thrilled to help him.
In no time, he learned to do so many hairstyles.
“I was able to do a simple braid, then a fishbone braid, and a French braid. I learned how to do a ponytail, then flip it through it either under or over. I call that an inverted ponytail”- Wickherst said.
Hairstyles can be difficult to do, but he says that he would do anything for his daughter and he really loves the smile on Izzy’s face when she has a new hairstyle.
