Turkish police found the body of Aylan Kurdi on Wednesday morning. Aylan was a 3-year old refugee who had drowned together with his mother Rehan and his 5-year-old brother Ghalib in the Mediterranean sea while trying to escape Syria. The photo of his lifeless body went viral and inspired emotional responses from artists around the world.
No matter what your opinion is about the Syrian refugees, one thing is sure: We must not allow kids like Aylan to die this way!
