20 Ways You Can Use Essential Oils

Here’s the list of 20 ways you can use your favorite essential oils:

1. Freshen Up Your Stinky Shoes

Put a few drops of Peppermint, Geranium, Lemon or Tea Tree oil on a cotton ball and place the cotton ball inside your shoes. Leave it overnight.

2. Eliminate Food Odors In Your Fridge

Put 1-2 drops of orange, lemon, grapefruit or thieves oil in a glass of water. Dip the sponge into the water and clean your fridge with it.

3. Air Freshener

Grab a spray bottle and add 20-30 drops of lemon, thieves or peppermint oil in it. Spray your room with your amazing, homemade air freshener.

4. Carpet Freshener

Mix 1 cup of baking soda, 10 drops thieves oil and 3 drops of peppermint oil. Mix them well and let them sit for 24 hours in a jar. Sprinkle your carpet with the mixture and then vacuum.

5. Treat Your Tired Muscles

Mix your muscle cream with a few drops of peppermint, jojoba and basil oil. Massage the sore area.

6. Deodorant Powder

In a small jar mix 1 oz. baking soda, 2 oz. cornstarch and a few drops of Melrose, Thieves, Joy, or Lavender essential oil. Use the powder as a natural deodorant.

7. Soak Bath

In a small jar, mix one drop each of cedar wood, grapefruit, rosemary, juniper, lavender, lemon and 2 oz. of Epson salt. Add 2 tbsp. of the mixture in your bath.

8. Stay Awake While You’re Driving

Put one drop of peppermint and one drop of rosemary oil on a cotton ball. Place the cotton ball near your car heating vent.

9. Sleep Well

Put a few drops of lavender and chamomile oil on a hanky and place the hanky under your pillow before you go to sleep.

10. Foot Ache

Rub a few drops of Melrose oil on your feet to soothe aches and burning sensation.

11. Ease Headaches

Massage one drop of lavender or peppermint oil on your temples to relieve headaches.

12. Perfume

Mix 25 drops of your favorite essential oil with 1 oz. of jojoba. Let the mixture sit in a bottle for 2 weeks before using it.

13. Foot Soak For Tired Feet

Mix 2 drops of lavender, chamomile and peppermint oil with ¼ cup Epsom salt. Add the mixture into your foot bath and let your feet soak at least 20 minutes.

14. Copper Polish

Put one drop of lemon oil to a cloth and use it to polish copper.

15. Sores On The Lips Area

Apply one drop of lavender oil directly on your sores.

16. Cleanse An Open Wound

Mix 1 drop of lavender and 1 drop of tea tree oil. Apply the mixture to the site of your wound.

17. Dry Scalp

In a spray bottle, add distilled water, 8 drops of lavender and rosemary oil. Spray your scalp before going to bed and comb your hair.

18. Blemishes

Apply 1 drops of lemon oil directly on your blemishes. Remember to avoid your eyes area.

19. Dry Aging Skin

Mix 1 tbsp. coconut oil with 1 drop of lavender, Frankincense and sandalwood. Apply some of the mixture on your skin before going to bed.

20. PMS Symptoms

Rub on some Dragon Time essential oil or Clary Sage oil on your abdomen to relieve PMS symptoms.
